Shrimp Tacos Recipe | Eating to Live


6 oz shrimp peeled and deveined

1 TBSP avocado oil

1 clove garlic minced

½ lemon juiced

1/3 head green cabbage shredded

¼ head purple cabbage shredded

4 limes juiced

2 oranges peeled and sliced in small pieces

2 TBSP Cilantro – chopped

Salt & Pepper to taste

Avocado diced or guacamole

2 limes for garnish

6 grain free tortillas (I have bought Siete’ brand when I haven’t been able to make my own)


Place cabbage, lime juice, oranges, cilantro, salt and pepper in a bowl and mix. Leave in the refrigerator for at least 30 min and up to several hours.

Saute’ shrimp in avocado oil, garlic and lemon.

Warm up tortilla’s.

Add shrimp, cabbage mixture, avocado & limes to a tortilla. Enjoy.
