Another great vegetable that I like to add to our meal plans is this Sautéed Green Beans and Bacon. Once you’re in level 3 and you can add pork to your meals this is a great addition.
1 lb organic green beans (break the stem off the tops of them)
6 strips bacon
1 half onion, diced
Salt and Pepper to taste
Sliced almonds for garnish if you can tolerate them
Set a heavy saute’ pan on medium high heat and cook bacon until crisp. Remove from pan and set on paper towel. After cooled bread into small pieces. Cook diced onions in the bacon grease until tender. Add green beans and cook for 10-15 minutes until tender. Remove from heat and garnish with bacon bits and sliced almonds. Enjoy.
