Blackberry Smoothie Recipe | Eating to Live

This is another smoothie recipe that was inspired by Terry Wahl’s.  As is typical I’ve changed it to fit our program and you can do the same with your smoothies.  We use the Eating To Live organic, gluten-free, dairy-free plant based protein with MCT oil in our smoothie recipes.  If you use one that doesn’t have MCT oil in it be sure to add that so you get a good dose of a good fat to start your day.


1 frozen banana

1 cup fresh or frozen blackberries

1/4 cup chopped or shredded beets, raw or cooked

1 scoop vanilla protein powder  or 1 TBSP MCT oil

1 can full fat coconut milk or 1 cup almond milk or water

1 tsp cinnamon


Put all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until smooth.
